Hi
I'm probably going to show my ignorance here, but I'm wondering about the use and appearance of Bootstrap.

I realise that its a framework that adapts really well to mobile use, and it is in use in JEvents in that capacity. Looking at the Bootstrap documentation online, and from using it, particularly in Community Builder, it seems also to have lots of CSS features built in as well, things like buttons etc and general styling.

What I'm asking in a roundabout way is, how could this be achieved (quickly and easily?) with JEvents? Is there a default CSS style that could be enabled, for example? Or could the Custom CSS facility be used to style JEvents using standard Bootstrap CSS? It would be great if I could achieve this, as I use Community Builder across my site and it does have these standard Bootstrap features, so the site would acquire a more uniform look this way.

Thanks.
Hello,

Exactly Bootstrap is a framework to rapidly speed up development of websites in simple terms. It has core functions and basic CSS styling.

JEvents uses Joomla! Bootstrap for forms and other things like modals etc. But we do not have a bootstrap theme.

You would probably be best trying the Flatplus theme as this is quite flat and similar to Bootstrap flat setup. Otherwise it would mean creating a new JEvents Theme based on all bootstrap classes. But note, there are different bootstrap version and thus different classes per version.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi
Okay, thank you. Sounds a bit complicated unfortunately. I might try playing around with the custom CSS and see what happens.
Thanks.
