I am trying to get the start date year to show in the Latest Events module using ${startDate(%a, %b %d)} but it will only show the current year, not the year set in the event. The day and month are correct, it just won't display the event year. Is this a bug or am I entering something incorrectly?

I suspect you needed eventDate nor startDate since startDate relates to the first repeat.
