Translations have to be put in the language subdirectory of joomla!! <!-- s:idea: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt=":idea:" title="Idea" /><!-- s:idea: --> <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt="" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> .
In case of a dutch translation it would have to be put in:

<!-- s:arrow: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_arrow.gif" alt=":arrow:" title="Arrow" /><!-- s:arrow: --> <!-- s:arrow: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_arrow.gif" alt=":arrow:" title="Arrow" /><!-- s:arrow: --> /root of your joomla installation/language/nl-NL/
(for the front-end part)

<!-- s:arrow: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_arrow.gif" alt=":arrow:" title="Arrow" /><!-- s:arrow: --> <!-- s:arrow: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_arrow.gif" alt=":arrow:" title="Arrow" /><!-- s:arrow: --> /root of your joomla installation/administrator/language/nl-NL/
(for the backend part)

I included a translation for jEvents 1.5 RC made by joomrolf <!-- s:ugeek: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_ugeek.gif" alt=":ugeek:" title="Uber Geek" /><!-- s:ugeek: --> (see <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.jevents.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1556]viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1556[/url]<!-- l -->)

Hi shuram, we already have a dutch translation. Just check our downloads section and you will find the Dutch translation for JEvents.

I always get the 'Post-it' with: The Translation of the JEvents Component in this language is incomplete - please consider completing the translation and contributing it to the project. How can I remove this because not only I get this (the developer) but all my other users too. I figured translating (further) the dutch.php file in the languages ()/components/com_events/language/) folder?
