Severe bug in RSVP counter

The number of attendees shown does not match the actual of attendees in the list !! The more attendees in an event, the more wrong the count is. This is a severe bug that needs to be fixed ASAP as it cuts of new registrants to attend even if an event is not really filled.
I use latest version of Jevent and RSVP and Joomla. And PHP 7.2
Sorry! - This is not that severe. The problem was that the admin had set a field to add a guest count to the total number of attendees - but still, the count is wrong by one ?? If i count the total of attendess and add the guest count they all have registered in the list, then I get one more than what is actual shown with the number of total attendees for the event??

And then a double sorry! It is all due to human mistake. The admin had made changes to the RSVP template regarding attendee count after the first attendees had registrered, therefore the count was not correct. Dough !
