Selecting Custom Fields

Hi guys!

So I am attempting to create an event list, probably a date range that will based on category and a custom field, i.e. Performer.

But when I go to create the menu item it shows the label for the Custom Field but it doesn't have anything else next to it... See attached image


Is this correct? Am I missing something?

So for that you should be using a tag or type of event, to allow the filtering opposed to a keyword. You can do a keyword with the filter module, but this is not allowed within the menu item settings.

A custom text field.

Hello,

Yes for that. You can't filter on a text field there are too many variables, you can for lists, checkboxes etc.

Is there a way to show a list of events based on keywords then? That I can create a URL out of it?

Like I want a list of all the Dirty Dancing events...
