Hello experts,

I have the problem, that some search result links from eventdetails are pointing to non existing destinations.

I found the configuration Menu Item for ALL event detail links
at the global configuration, but I havent set a menu item because I don't want to override all menu items or module settings.

The eventdetail I'm talking from is assigned to a menu item, but the search result for this event dosen't point at that.
It is assigned to a category either, but I cant find a possibility to configure the menu item.

If you want to, you can have a look.

Please search for "volkslauf" and chose the first hit.

regards,
Berndi
Hello,

Have you installed the missing events plugin? This should find the best menu item for the event to be viewed at

Many thanks

Does not work.

..and I don't think, that this would solve my problem, because I don't know how to select the right menuitem for this event.

I thought that it would be enough to assign the eventdetai to a menu-item...

Hello,

No you should create a singular menu item which has no restrictions then search can view all events of this. But the missing events plugin should find a menu item the event is visible from if one exists.

Many thanks

Is this issue still outstanding? Is there a link where I can see what is happening?

BTW the next version of JEvents will have a 'permalink' option to allow you to specify a single menu item where all event detail links will resolve. Would that help your situation?
