hello,
I have installed jevents on my website, but when I try to add an event from the frontend and click on the save button, nothing happens; no errors, no closing of the page, no event added.
What could the reason be?
Hello,

This sounds like a jQuery conflict caused by your template. Can you please try when using the standard Joomla! Template?

Many thanks
Tony

Hi,

I have the same issue with a rockettheme template. Tried using the standard joomla template, and it works fine. Is there something I have to do before contacting Rockettheme ?

Thanks but I cannot see any events to edit or a way to create new ones on the frontend.

Oh, all the events are past so you can't see them in the calendar...
You have a link in a tab "proposer un spectacle" in the module "spectacles" on the right side that goes to create a new event
Thanks

Tony asked me to take a look at this and I found the issue

The event edit date format has been set at d/m/Y but the dates are Y-m-d .

There is a template override in place with Y-m-d hard coded.

I'm not sure why you created the event edit template override but it needs to be updated or removed to resolve this issue.

<!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarrassed" /><!-- s:oops: --> Of course those files... I made them a long time ago... I think they are useless now with the new version of jevents ?
I removed them and it's ok now, despite the calendar module. It's just some css...
Sorry Geraint for annoying you with this !
