Is it possible using RSVP Pro for a logged-in user to simply click a button to register for an event? It appears that if you have Community Builder (CB) installed it can pre-populate a registration form but I just want a user to be able to click a button w/o having to view any type of registration form (pre-populated or not). We don't have CB installed and would prefer just to use Joomla's default User Management.

You can but from the event details only. Then you can use Joomla! extended profile and the RSVP Pro extended profile field to pre-fill the data for logged in users.
