Hi

Since I updated JEvent to version 3.4.38, I can no longer save an Event if Radio Button Value is set to default value. This is also valid if I save with different value, and then edit again and try to save with the value that is set to be default.

I did not have this problem before version 3.4.38, and I have now also updated to 3.4.39 with the error still there.

Please see attached screenshots. Do I have the wrong settings?

Best regards,
Ante
Hello,

This has nothing to do with the update and has always been the case.

You have set the field as required but are not changing the default option, the default option is the field used to check if the value has been changed thus the requirement met.

Can you set it as Please Select for the default value.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony

Thanks for quick reply.

You are correct in your answer. However, I am very confident about not having done any changes to the field settings between the versions as I had the system working as intended until new release. Perhaps it had something to do with some previous tweaks that you had helped me with. In any case, I have now set the Radio boxes to be Not required and kept the default values. Since they are default a value will always be set no matter if it are required or not.

Thanks again.
