Greetings All,

We have been using JEvents (currently version 3.4.48) for several years and recently events are not showing up on the site with this error being displayed: "You are not authorised to create/edit events". The events have public access. The site is:

http://hopsonplantation.com > Calendar

Thanks,

- Scott
Hello Scott,

So is this for displaying events or creating events?

Can you provide your JEvents Support Information from the JEvents control panel?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

First please update Joomla! to 3.9.2 first and foremost.

But your issue is your 'Calendar' menu item has been set to a create events menu item type. You will want to edit the menu item and set it to say the Jevents month view for instance.

Many thanks

Hi Tony,

Attached is a snippet of a calendar event. I don't see an option to set the view to "JEvents month view" - where is that option located? We have been using the JEvents extension for years without any issue. Here is my updated info:

Hello,

That's an input.. I'm a bit confused on what you are looking view?

Are you looking for an events calendar popup and select dates from a month view within the event editing?

If so clicking the calendar icon to the right of the date should work.

Many thanks
