Dear sirs.
I m facing an issue with editing an existing event from frontend. When I hit the pencil button, my screen goes darker (like a Lightbox effect) but nothing happens and I have to reload the page for the site to be functional again.
I have narrowed down the problem and I m pretty certain its about the template I m using. when using the standard Joomla template, I can see the edit, delete etc. buttons. Unfortunately I get no errors in my console output so I have no idea what is causing the problem or where to start from.
Any help from your side would be much appreciated

EDIT: I can see the modal window code loading in the page source code but I can't see the actual window and buttons

Hello,
Your template is likely hiding the modal with a forced .hide I suspect.
If you wish we can take a look at this, but you need to be at least a bronze member given it's an issue with your template applying a global forced CSS rule.
