I am using Joomla 3 with JEvents 3.1.7
We are very impressed with the JEvents Calendar which is much easier to customise (and more pleasing on the eye) than a paid extension we have (I won't use names :-)), where we don't really get the support we paid for.
We are using the free version of JEvents at this stage and I have a few questions before we buy a Membership:
1.
Creating Events:
a.
It is possible to select the Category by default, is it possible to select the Calendar by default as well?
--Reason: we have more than 1 calendar on the website with different permissions. I want to make creating events as easy as possible for the users, the calendar on which they want to add an event should be selected by default.
b.
I have removed the "Publish" and "Access" buttons and now the user's event is not published by default (as per the settings)and the Access is "Public". I don't want to show this buttons, I want the "Access" to be set by the category default and the event should be published by default as well. How do I do this?
2.
Exporting Events:
The export window is a bit daunting for the users, can this be customised:
*Again, I want the category/calendar to be set by default for the calendar
*Instead of "Years" there has to be a "Date Range" the user can select
*I want to change the headings of the generated Export "PUBLIC EVENTS" and "JEV_PUBLIC_AND_EVENTS"
--The Google export loses 1 hour when the event time ends at 00:00, how do I fix this?
3.
Importing Events:
Is it possible to [from front-end] import an external calendar/file and if so,
how?
4.
And Lastly:
To be able to implement(get support on how to do) all of the above, will the Bronze Membership be enough?
