Please is it normal that 2.6.26 all JEVENT Modules have a Version number of 3.4.44 except the component_com_jce : which has a Version number of 2.6.26 .

Yes it is since component_com_jce is nothing to do with JEvents. We just have this in our support info since we know of a few versions which conflict and it helps us diagnose the problem.
