Hi,

We recently upgraded our server from PHP 5.6 to 7.2 (on Debian 8) and our Joomla installation broke with a blank page with only the text "Error".

To get the Joomla website back online we used phpmyadmin and set the JEvents core component to "0" from "1". This allows the Joomla installation to work. Now we want to get our jEvents working again.

Infos
Our JEvents version is: 3.4.46
Joomla version: 3.8.8

If you need any other info about the setup let me know.

Thanks!
Great to hear and welcome to the club!

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

It sounds like you have a club plugin possibly installed? Can you enable Maximum error reporting and try again? It should produce a correct error.

If you reinstall JEvents it will include all bits needed. But can you then provide a copy of the JEvents Support Info from the JEvents Control Panel to help us see what JEvents bits you have installed.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

I don't know what a club plugin is, do you mean Community Builder? We do have that installed. Community Builder was working properly after the PHP 7.2 upgrade.

I re-installed JEvents and re-enabled the core and JEvents is now working again! Excellent.

Thanks for that solution.
