I am totally confused on how to set permissions for jevents.
I created a user group named "Events" under the Manager level.
I went to the jevents component and under permissions, I selected "Events" and gave them permission to edit, create, etc.
When a user in the "Events" group logs in to the front end, there is no edit icon to give them access.
What step(s) am I missing?

Hello,
Did you enable Authorised USer Mode under the JEvents Configuration - Permissions? If so disable this.
