Upon testing with the PayPal IPN i am getting 500 internal server errors. I have contacted PayPal but wanted to check with you to see if there are any issues you are aware of. The current settings I have for the RSVP Pro - PayPal IPN are sandbox mode. Now it just give me a 500 error. I've attached the same screenshots as provided to PayPal support.

Site credentials are in the private area.

Hoping you can help. Trying to finalize this site and get it live.
Hello,

Please enable Joomla! Maximum Error Reporting in the Joomla! Global Config. And try again, your 500 error should now be an error we can understand, can you post it here?

Many thanks
Tony

I have enabled the maximum reporting but it doesn't show anything on the front-end. Here is a copy of the error log for the last tests:

[12-Apr-2017 14:16:44 America/Chicago] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/ivmgmt/public_html/sample3/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/models/customfields.php on line 103

[18-Apr-2017 08:06:12 CST6CDT] PHP Notice: Undefined index: user_is_vendor in /home/ivmgmt/public_html/sample3/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/models/user.php on line 463

I don't understand the user is vendor as the vendor is the client, the buy is me the tester.

Hello,

Can you please provide a copy of the JEvents Support Info from the JEvents Control panel on that site?

Also, can you view the error_log in the Joomla! administrator folder. We are looking for a FATAL error which is causing the 500 error.

Many thanks

Hello,

But if I recall correctly you are checking out with Virtuemart and the Virtuemart PayPal plugin. Therefore this is where the issue lyes and not with JEvents.

Many thanks

I am using the RSVP Pro - PayPal IPN and VM Payment - PayPal.

I'm not sure where they got this file they want me to change. Do you have any idea where that is generated from?

So can you clarify when this issue occurs the exact steps which are taken?

i.e. are you checking out with RSVP Pro PayPal IPN or adding to cart and checkout with paypal? everything about says it's virtuemart.

Many thanks

Yes I am adding to cart on all the events and then checking out with PayPal. Ultimately I is the paypal plugin in the sandbox shop environment.

So therefore it is the Virtuemart PAyPal plugin and not the JEvents one I'm afraid. JEvents PayPal Plugin is a very quick checkout, and doesn't add to cart or operate any of that side which is why you are using virtuemart for the carting ability.

Many thanks
