I'm trying to get the detection of overlapping events to work but it isn't.
I have 3 categories, each set to detect overlapping events.
However I can set an event over say a week, and then another over part or all of the same week, and it save it without telling me there is an overlap.
Am i doing something wrong?
Thanks
Hi pedders,
in JEvents Configuration, which setting do you have for overlapping events? Thanks!!

The Calendar object is net to NO (reason as I do want events in different categories to be able to overlap, just not in each category)
Each category is set to YES for overlapping.

Only option relating to overlap under configuration > event editing is "Skip test on site referrer when checking overlapping events" and is set to NO

Hello,

Enable it yes in global and no on the categories you want it disabling on. Then it should work.

If it still does not work, please test in the backend.

Many thanks

OK thanks for the help, think I'm sorted

Although i am now getting the following error on the new event editing page:
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in \administrator\components\com_jevents\controllers\icalevent.php on line 517
But it still creates the event so not particularly worried

Hello,

Please set error reporting to simple or non, that's resolved in the next release :-).

Many thanks
