I run events for young people such as ski trips. It's usually their parents who purchase the places.

The number of places is dictated by the accommodation we use. For example, there might be spaces for 20 girls and 15 boys. For obvious reasons we can't get this wrong.

So my question is, can each event's capacity be broken down into gender?

E.g. Total = 35 (20 girls, 15 boys).
In RSVP Pro you can have a a drop down field with capacities so you can have 2 fields:
1. How many girl tickets?
2. How many boy tickets?
and as they are used up the maximum number that can be selected is reduced and eventually blocked altogether

Or you could have a select field
Gender: boy or girl
with a limit on how many time each can be selected.

I would suggest you purchase a gold membership and try it out (with help in the forum if needed) and then if it doesn't do what you need you can request a refund.
