Hello

after installing the latest Version of Jevents (3.4.18) I have the following issue:
The event list (index.php?option=com_jevents&view=cat&layout=listevents) shows only the next 10 events.

Thank you and kind regards
Christof

Hello,

Please configure it:

Hello

Year / Category view > Number of events was already set = "All".
I change to "100": still only 10 events are displayed
I change to "5": all events are displayed (very strange indeed)

This happens with any of my websites. Pretty convinced that this is a bug.
Thank you!

Kind regards
Christof

Hello Christof,

Which JEvents theme are you using?

What if you change it in the Joomla! Global Config?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello Tony

I use different JEvents Templates. I tried any of these Templates, no difference. Only 10 events are displayed.

I don't understand "What if you change it in the Joomla! Global Config?". What exactly are you suggesting to change there?

Kind regards
Christof

Hello Christof,

In the Joomla! Global Configuration you can se the default limit. Please try changing it there.

Many thanks

Hello Tony

In the Joomla! Global Configuration, I have

Default List Limit = 100
Default Feed Limit = 100

This is without any impact; still only 10 events are displayed. This worked fine with earlier versions of JEvents. It must have come with one of the latest JEvents Updates.

Kind regards
Christof

On the options tab of your menu item (at the bottom) what limit do you have in place?

There is no option to set a limit (see screenshot of the options tab) [attachment=0:1pr6awqc]<!-- ia0 -->2016-08-30_menus-edit-entries-jevents.png<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1pr6awqc]

By the way: I see that your demo website http://rsvp.jeventsdemo.net/ runs JEvents 3.4.5. I wonder if the issue can be reproduced after your updating it to 3.4.18.

Are you sure there are no other options if you scroll down further? There should be another 2-3 options to set below the ones you showed

p.s. Whoops - we need to update the version of JEvents on that demo site !

Sorry. Yes you are right. There are 2 more options. There is a blank space between so I did not notice these 2 options at first sight.

The "max. number of events" ("Maximal anzuzeigende Termine") was set to "0". I guess this means "unlimited".
