Is there any chance that you could implement another 'Redirect Afterwards?' option but for saved events?
ATM when we save event we are redirected to event details, why not add an option to redirect user to option selected in new 'Redirect Afterwards?', that could have same destinations as in current 'Redirect Afterwards?' combo with additional option (go to) 'Saved event detail'.

Just a thought...
