I get the following message:
"You have enabled authorised user mode to manage permissions within JEvents - this means you must create an authorised user entry for Super Users as well as normal Joomla users"
What am I supposed to do to fix this?

I don't know how to create a superuser for JEvents. See my users in the attached photo.

I have no idea what a JEvents cPanel is.
When attempting to create an event whilst logged in as a Super Administrator, then you probably:
enabled authorised user mode for event editing/creation
Enabled authorised user mode for event editing/creation (JEvents Configuration -> Permissions)
And did not set up the Super Admin user as an authorised event creator, in JEvents cPanel -> Authorised Users.
To fix this you should setup the Super Administrator as an authorised event creator through JEvents cPanel -> Authorised Users or disable authorised user mode and use the Joomla! ACL.
Event creation permissions (and other config options) are described in the configuration documentation available to all club members (bronze, silver and gold) available from here.
