month.calendar 404 after cancel editing event

Hi

I have an issue when cancelling an event. If I click the cancel button on the event editing page I am directed to month.calendar url which is what I require. However it returns a 404 page article not found.

I can overcome this using the Joomla redirect system or an .htaccess file but wondered if I am missing something in the configuration set up?

Hi

the pages are using a hidden menu which I would prefer not to disclose if possible. I have added the initial link under the site details private. If I click cancel before filling the form in I get the 404. Under Events Editing in the config the redirect is set to Redirect Afterwards? View By Month.

Is the menu item accessible once the user clicks cancel?

the menu item is visible yes. The full calendar month can be viewed. month.calendar is what I get after cancelling as per the config. The calendar is actually on arena-date-calendar. I can't see an option to redirect it to that url from within the Jevents config.

Ahh hang on, what version off Joomla! are you on? 3.8.4 by any chance?

Hi

No I am using 3.8.5.

This occurs if I go to create an event and have not entered anything at all. If I am on the calendar and click the link to Add An Event and then cancel it goes back to the calendar as expected. (hope that makes sense)?

Hi

This is now resolved. I switched over the calendar to live menu links and all is now working as expected. Not really sure why that would be the case?

Can you provide super user login details please in the site details tab since it should redirect to a month view without any issue.
