Yes this is absolutely correct :-). Note, it's cheaper to buy the Gold Membership for 12 months than it is to buy two silver memberships and that if you renew before expiry you get a 20% discount.

Yea, I think I will pass. It's a shame you don't offer your packages individually. So for me you want over $100 for your Map Locations Manager add-on, and I'm sure it updates often enough to justify spending that amount annually. I think not it's just an add-on; albeit a good one.

While I'm sure some of your add-ons are worth every penny I don't see it for Location Manager, not when users can go to Google Maps and achieve almost the same results via a link, and that's FREE. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

I must admit you guys have one heck of a Marketing strategy! But PLEASE consider individual pricing, you may end up with more sales. Especially from a Free Open Source community. I don't want to buy the whole cow when all I want is a glass of milk.

It's almost backward isn't it? You give the core away but charge for the add-ons.I would actually pay for JEvents it is so well written and probably without a doubt the best events software out there for Joomla! But to have us pay that amount annually would turn me away again. I would do with a lesser package for free.Yea, I'm cheap, that's why I chose Joomla! Good luck to you guys I hope one day you make your software affordable to guys and gals like me.

The problem is with the fast moving internet standards for API's and improvements with massive amount of support. So unfortunately we can't work for free, and believe it or not we are a small company earning an average wage.

You can buy the Silver Membership for 6 months with updates and support for just $55 (approximately). You don't need to update unless there is a big change within Joomla! core which we need to adjust too and thus the manager would need updating.

So $55 for a location manager if that's all you are really after, is really quiet competitive. If you hire a developer to to create such a component with no support, no updates you would be looking at a lot of money.
