Loading iCal from URL fails

When I try to load a google calendar per URL, an error message appears with the url without : and /. When I edit the iCalImport.php with my url set to $filename in the import function, I can import the calendar without an issue.

Something is removing the special characters from the given url.

Error:
Not a valid VCALENDAR data file: httpscalendar.google.comcalendarical86gpnrpb0opckmecs604b7kj0g40group.calendar.google.comprivate-d099a3ed458xxxxxxxxxxxxxxbasic.ics

Ich habe den Kalender schon auf mehreren Seiten nach dieser Anleitung -> http://www.joomlaportal.de/joomla-2-5-allgemeine-fragen/280516-google-kalender-mit-jevents-aktualisiert-darstellen.html schon mehrfach eingebaut (Danke "ak33056";), doch jetzt auf einmal will das nicht mehr gehen.
Habe auch obenstehende Änderung über FTP "components/com_jevents/controllers/icals.php" in Joomla! 3.9.1 und JEvents v3.4.47 Stable vorgenommen, keine Änderung. Woran kann es denn noch liegen?
