Hi folks,

I really need to try and make a layout similar to this: <!-- w -->www.edinburghprintmakers.co.uk/whats-on<!-- w -->

I am very experienced with HTML/CSS but I see no way of changing the settings to provide a monthly calendar like the one in the link.

I want to be able to click through each month and then see a list of events for that month.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello,

The easiest way to do this would be with a JEvents Layout like Flatplus. This allows the month view to be list based. Then you can do a template override and have each row at 50% width with a float left. And customise the output in the JEvents -> Custom Layouts -> List Row.

Many thanks
Tony

Oh that sounds perfect.

So to confirm, I just need to subscribe to get Flatplus and then I will have an option to view each month as a list instead of a table like calendar?

Also, will I be able to add images in the list view as well as an image for the single event pages too?

Many thanks!

Hello,

Welcome to the Club!

1. Yup exactly! In JEvents -> Configuration -> Club Layouts -> Flatplus

2. You most certainly can! You will need the JEvents Standard Image and Files Plugin for that though :-).

Many thanks

Thank you so much for your help Tony, I am almost there now.

I can see images in the event view but I can't quite work out how to enable the thumbnails to display in the list view, one I know that I am all sorted :)

Many thanks again!

I managed to work it out, I just needed to use the custom layouts I assume as it seems to do just the job perfectly.

Thank you very much for your help :)
