Ever since we upgraded to Joomla 3.8.2 all of our event details pages just show the Jevents contents and do not show within our Joomla template. An example is https://mdchess.com/index.php?option=com_jevents&task=icalrepeat.detail&evid=74684&Itemid=1086&year=2017&month=12&day=09&title=2017-maryland-december-action

All other Jevents content displays correctly. I've reinstalled Jevents and tried various menu and template changes but nothing changes.

Anyone seen this before?
Hello,

that is strange... Can you please provide your JEvents support Information from your JEvents Control Panel?

Many thanks

Tony,
There is no current menu with that ID. From the numbering it looks like a added one when I was trying to make sure that there was a menu item to map to events details. I have since deleted that menu item.

Ok so that seems to be the problem, your site is a bit of a mess with the way it is setup.

You need to create a JEvents Menu item without any restrictions, then edit all your JEvents modules and set the target menu item to be this one.

Many thanks

Tony,
I agree that the menu itemids are a mess. I've tried everything from rebuilding the menus, making new menus, adding new modules but when I display the event details, it always has the itemid set to the non-existent 1086. I did make a new menu item with an id of 1091 that if I directly go to that event does use 1091. But even than one does not have any template applied and is just the pure html.
Here's the link to that one:
https://mdchess.com/index.php?option=com_jevents&view=icalrepeat&layout=detail&evid=846&rp_id=74684&Itemid=1091
All of the links that are via the latest events module use 1086 as the itemid. They all display just the plane event html only.
Any ideas of how I should proceed?
Thanks
Mike
