Been inspecting the pages to see if this was a jquery/bootstrap/js issue as well as turned error logging on. 
This appears in backend events page but can't understand the issue.
Also if I edit and try to save, I get this error of 500 ()

I also checked what the 500 error contained

I still haven't been able to locate the issue and luckily haven't had to make any additions.

Thanks for looking into that, crazy to have another plugin cause issues like that.
disabled and able to edit and create events! great timing as we had to update it.
