JEvents removes images in description when I save

A few days ago, I updated the site from J! 5.4.2 to 6.0.2, and now I'm having a problem when I insert an image into the description: after saving, the image disappears. It also happens if I open an old event and save it; the images are removed. I've enabled debugging and set error reporting to Maximum, but nothing is reported. What could be the cause?
JEvents 3.6.97, PHP 8.4.1, Database Collation utf8mb4_0900_ai_ci

This is resolved in version 3.6.98 - it was an unexpected change in Joomla 6 regarding filtering of array data. Sorry it took so long to resolve
