Hi,
I'm trying to figure out if JEvents can be used to do some people management tasks, maybe with the help of some specific modules and plugins.

What we are looking for is an extension which every user use to insert their schedules/holidays in, and a way to see all the schedules/holidays in a single view.
Something like: each user has its own calender in which events are schedules and holidays instead of other kind of events. Each user keeps their events updated and HR team can see the whole planning.
Or, if only one calendar can be set then all user has its own category of events to be used to insert any tasks, and again they can be seen altogether.

Do you think this can be a good use of JEvents or am I forcing it to do something it's not developed for?

Thank you very much
Hello Riwedmaster,

Welcome to JEvents!

JEvents is perfect for your scenario. You just need a Silver Club Membership and the User Specific events.

You can then set the admins to be able to see all events, but only the users can see their private events :-).

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tonyp,
Thank you for your quick reply that I've just seen!

We were already thinking about a Silver Club Membership as it offers many more interesting extensions.

Many thanks
