Hi (again),
Does Jevents will integrate the new J!3 tag system in order to have a nice tag system on all our content ?

edit FYI jcal seems to have already integrate it

Hello,

Not yet but we certainly are planning on adding it!

We have been a bit overloaded with the new site and just making everything J3 compatible as they like to deprecate things too quickly.

Yeah few things to be deprecated version after version <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->
The new tag system seems to answer to a big lack (compare to aother CMS) so you give me a nice answer ! I suppose you can't give us a date for the integration...

In any case we do have our own tag solution that might works for you in the meanwhile:

It's a Silver member addon and for sure we will provide a migration solution to Joomla! tags system whenever we have it integrated in our Addons.

Yes I know your silver add-on but we are looking for unifying tags managment in all client content articles, agenda, directory, contact...)

Hi,
I am sorry I am digging up a post that is probably quite old (J3 compatibility issues).
Anyway, we too are looking for a unified tags management in all our contents
Is there a way we can get JEvents to work with J!3 tags system ?
If not, is there a roadmap for this integration ?

Certainly. But if I want info on this extension I would go on its public forum. Unfortunately, I did not find it.
Is there hope that one day JEvents be compatible with the standard Joomla design pattern for tags ?

Yep certainly shiluba

We are just migrating RSVP Pro to Joomla! Custom Fields. The we can look at moving tags over to native tags. I'll have a word on Geraint when we can schedule it in.
