I have a site that was developed in a '/newdesign/' subfolder and has now been moved to the main root. I haven't had any issues with updates until today when I got a notice that there was an update for JEvents 3.2.17. However, when I updated it, it did not update as it still shows " JEvents v3.2.16 Stable Copyright © 2006-2015 ". So under the Update, I Purged and then clicked update. I got this:

Well now the version shows as 3.2.18 whereas it was 3.2.16 before. LOL
So when I logged into the website Joomla admin panel, it showed an update was available and it was the JEvents 3.2.18. However, it did show this warning:

Some update sites are disabled. You may want to check the Update Sites Manager.
I went ahead and updated via the Joomla Update function. JEvents is now 3.2.18.
