I have a page that lists my Locations with a map at the bottom. When I mouse over a pin on the map it displays the name of the location.

When I click on the pin, google maps is launched and displays the latitude and longitude in the google maps search box. Is it possible for google maps to show the name of the location instead?

You can see the map at:

I think I found the cause of this (which has been irritating me for a long time too!) - can you try editing the file administrator/components/com_jevlocations/view.html.php and change line 689 from
$mainframe->redirect($googlemapsurl . "/maps?f=q&ie=UTF8&t=$maptype&om=1&q=" . $subtitle . "@" . $lat . "," . $long . "&ll=" . $lat . "," . $long . "&z=" . $zoom . "&iwloc=addr");

to
$mainframe->redirect($googlemapsurl . "/maps?f=q&ie=UTF8&t=$maptype&om=1&q=" . $subtitle . "&@" . $lat . "," . $long . "&ll=" . $lat . "," . $long . "&z=" . $zoom . "&iwloc=addr");

Does this help?

Could you confirm the name and path of the file to change again? I cannot find that file.
