Hi folks

I have some events that last the whole year except the summer and autumn holidays.
Is it possible to hide these events by a filter?
I can't find this function.

Hello Berndi,

You would tend to go in to the individual repeats and just delete them off. In the backend under Manage Events on the right of each row there is an icon in the column 'Repeats' click this and then you will see all the repeats for that event which you can delete at your leisure. But note, at present you can not add to it.

Hello,

The other option is to create an event by day number i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14 etc for each day of the year. A bit long winded imho.

If you have some decent PHP skills you could write a small JEvents plugin to do this for you. It could be based on the code of the TimeLimit plugin (that restricts the dates on which events are shown to a specific range) or the "Weekday Event Display Restrictions " plugin (that hides events that occur at the weekend) - these are both available to silver members of the JEvents club - see https://www.jevents.net/products-new/addons/silver-addons
