Integration of the Social2S plugin in the Latest Events list module

Hello to all,

Another question of which I feel free to ask since my support on my last question was really good. And that for a free procuct!
I'm trying tot integrate the Social2S plugin for Jevents but I cannot find a way to do so. I activated the plugin, both in the Joomla plugin section and in the JEvents component section. I would like to place the Social2S in my Latest Events module list.
I can't find any documentation on this. So how to do this or is it even possible?

Hello Paul,

Does the Social2S provide a shortcode of sorts? Have you tried inserting this into the LAtest Events Module Custom Format string?

No, no shortcode available that I know of. But why then the build in integration? There should be a way to manage this in one of the plugin settings.

I'm afraid you will need to contact them and ask? the shortcode i.e. {{social2s}} would be allowed to be used throughout Joomla! whereas a plugin setting would force it to be shown where the setting was told to put it. Which is not intuitive at all.

I'm busy doing that. I can see the Social2S in the event calendar detail view so there must be a way to trigger it in the module latest event list. What PHP sheet calls the event calendar detail view?
