How to become an expert of JEvents

Hi,
I've seen JEvents has many documents and plugins.
Can you give me some advices to what documents read (and in what order) to become an expert of JEvents (with JomSocial plugin if it's possible)

You can never become an expert by reading only the documentation; The documentation tells you what functions the application offer NOT how or when to use them, the pro and cons compared to other function that can do (almost) the same and combining different functions.
Advice: Make a test site and start playing (ok, and reading)
