Hello,

why do I get on almost every page a new message like:

Nachricht
33 iCal events processed
The iCal file was successfully imported.

How can I disable that message?

Thanks in advance,

BR Lav
Hello Sascha,

We will make sure the next release includes a tweak so the message is not output if being run from a cronjob.

Many thanks

Hello,

This is because you are a super user, and your site has a cronjob setup I suspect to run the import routine, as it's happened when you are logging in it's notifying you.

Many thanks

Hello Tony,

thank you for your message.

Unfortunetaly it is also shown for all users, not just admins or super users.
Even not registrated visitors can see this notifing.

Is it possible to hide or deactivate that notify-output?

Hy, Tony,

It is also possible to deactivate the message when users are logged in. It is quite annoying on either side.

Hi,
i do not understand, what you mean.
The homepage ist public. Members of our church should log in and edit data in Listmanager. They get rights.
But always the news emerges from the calendar ...

I logged in to the site and visited the manage events page.

Then in a separate web-browser I loaded the URL that the cron job would run to update one of your calendars.

I then viewed the manage events page in the original browser and I didn't see any messages.

Can you tell us how you have setup your cron job and what URL you use to reload the calendars? You can put the URL and private details on the 'site details' tab below

Hi,
these messages only appear when you are logged into the frontend! Did you do that?
Whenever I open a new page, they appear.
The calendars are updated via hidden wrapper modules!

The calendars are updated via hidden wrapper modules!

This explains it - the calendar is being updated by the person who happens to be logged in at the right time. You need to set up a cron job to do this properly - there are documentation articles to explain how here https://www.jevents.net/frequently-asked-questions/setting-cron-jobs-non-technical-explanation and a list of online services you can use instead of Cron on your own server if you prefer.
