hello experts,

when I try to hide an event, usig the "edit event" and change state to hidden, the settings won't be saved.
what I'm doing wrong?
I think a superuser should be allowed to do this.

regards,
Berndi
Hello Berndi,

Can you provide a screen shot of the setting? We don't have a hidden setting by default? Is this a custom field you added?

Many thanks

When I open the settings of a repetitive event and chose the state 'hide' and save, then joomla tells me 'successfully saved' but the state is still 'published'

So that is the publish state. It should say unpublished.

Can you try in the English language? Does it work then?

Many thanks

You're right. It should say "unpublished' not "hidden"

My Joomla-System-Language is german

When I switch it to english nobody of my siteadmins can use the backend anymore.

Nevertheless, a repetitive event can't be unpublished.

Can you please provide logins to a test site ideally? IF not the live site will be fine so we can run some tests.

Many thanks

I can save as any state in the backend. Can you please clarify how we can replicate this?

So the problem is, there isn't a publish state for the Repeating Events individually. Only published or delete it.

Many thanks
