Front end editor stopped working for all Jevents pages

My front end editor has suddenly stopped working on JEvents. The editor works on all other component pages. The edit icon on Jevents page has changed to a pencil which when clicked simply opens a small image of itself. The back end editing is fine. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm running a protostar template with Joomla v 3.8.4 and J Events v 3.4.43

Can you provide a screenshot please? And also pres F12 to view the developer console of your JEvents Page?

Hi Tony,

Thanks for looking at my problem. 3 images attached
- page with normal edit icon as appears on all other pages except JEvents
- page with inactive "pencil" icon
- screenshot from pressing F12

Hi Tony, I have discovered the problem. There seems to be a conflict with a plugin JH Popup, which enables all images to be clickable image popups. This seems to override the front end editing capability in JEvents. I don't know how to change this other than to de-active JH Popup

You could ask the developers of JH Popup to disable it running on JEvents pages? Or remove it and set the popups on images yourself?
