How do I transfer the vents database from one domain to another. Will it be through the back end database?

Thanks
Hello,

Do you have club addons or is it just event data?

Many thanks

Its just Event Data. So we just add events to the calendar and populate location and staffing

Hello,

So if it's just the event and not staffing then you can use the JEvents iCal Export menu item in the frontend and then on the backend of the site you can create a new calendar and select import from file.

This video might help.

I get this when running the export - The webpage at http://www.animaldaysout.com/index.php?option=com_jevents&task=icals.export&format=ical&catids=0&years=2016,2017&pk=bed98c0ac9fca85d4a8605f104e2bc38&i=428 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE

How do I add staff as well, as they are already allocated to the calendar and I need to migrate

Thanks

Ok so you have a lot more data and not just events you want to migrate club addons too.

The only way to do this is to copy the JEvents tables across and then the Joomla! categories table too since we use the Joomla! Category Manager for our Categories.

Many thanks
