Events "Blink" on hover

Using JEvents in my Joomla install. When I hover the mouse over the event on the monthly calendar the event "blinks". This did not happen on the original install. Any suggestions on a fix?

It sounds like a javascript/css issue - as Knowyourfun says we need a URL to assess the cuase of the proble
