I am thinking of creating a site that allows people to advertise their events as well as submit coupons that users of the site can use to get a discount on a service or event.

I would like to give the submitter access to this functionality on a time base, e.g. month, 6 months or 12 months subscription.

Also, I would like the user of this site to be able to use the coupon code to get a discount on an event that is listed on the site.

Would something like this be possible? I was thinking of creating a special category that is called COUPONS and allow the submitter to create this coupon using your event software and setting the time almost like the event would be for a month or so.

What are your thoughts about this? Thank you.
We offer a paid event submission addon for JEvents - but it is based on paying for a set number of event submissions. If you want a time based subscription I would recommend using a joomla subscriptions app such as AkeebaSubs - this would allow you to promote users to an event creation user group.

We offer an event booking system called RSVP Pro (see demo videos at the bottom of http://www.jevents.net/jevents-club/demo-videos) which allows event creators to create events and discount coupon codes etc.
