Hello,

I have a client's website that uses the JEvents - Event Notifications and Messages plugin for notifying website subscribers of new events posted.

In the event notifcation message that is sent out - any links that have been entered in the event description (data from the tag {DESCRIPTION} ) are coming through containing /plugins/jevents/jevnotify/ in the URL which results in a 404 error - however when viewing the event via the event calendar on the website the url goes to the correct page.

Do you have any suggestions on how this can be fixed so that the URLs do not contain /plugins/jevents/jevnotify/ and go to the correct page?

Your advice is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Gemma
Hello Gemma,

Can you please provide a copy of the JEvents Support Info from the JEvents cPanel.

Many thanks

Hello,

I am afraid we cannot support Joomla! 3.4.6. Please upgrade to:3.6.5 or 3.7.0. And update all the out of date JEvents plugins too.

Many thanks
