I have the same problem as user kwarr in the following post:
https://www.jevents.net/discussions/edit-button-stopped-working

There is no reaction when clicking the edit-icon in the upper right corner of an opened event. Unfortunately I don't rember exactly when this started, but it was sometime this summer

I very much suspect that I could use the same solution as kwarr, but I'm affraid I don't know how to do it. I would very much appreciate some help with that!

Versions
Jevent: 3.4.48
Joomla: 3.8.12
You have tons of jQuery version running on your site which is why it is failing.

Try and use jQueryEasy to auto fix them for you.

But it looks like //plugins/system/videobox/js/jquery.min.js

could be your culprit.

Sorry to reveal myself as a total joomla!-noob (didn't make the site, just admin:ing it...), but I don't now wich template is default for Joomla! We use "beez3", and only other option I can find is "Protostar"

Is there an easy way of switching templates without risk of destroying anything?

Update: Found it, changed to "Protostar", got the same behaviour

Hello,

Can you provide some basic logins so we can quickly review? I'm having no issues with standard Joomla! Template.

Many thanks

Excellent, thanks!
I disabled videobox-plugin and then it worked. I will try the jQueryEasy for a medium term fix, and purge the jQuery versions for the long term. If I get that far.
