Event Detail View is blank

Good morning, everyone.

When clicking on a calendar event, the detail view is blank. I noticed this after upgading to ver3.4.5 and deleting an ical imported calendar. (Didn't test after the upgrade only. I don't remember if I did.)

Notes:
- I've tested this with 3 or 4 different jEvent themes, still blank.
- The detail view worked before upgrade
- Detail view worked before deleting an ical imported calendar

Hello, i have the same Problem ! Before some days it works very fine, Now Detail and List View are blank without the Termins..

I have found a bug in the layouts editor that may be the explanation of these problems. In some circumstances you could end up with duplicate records in the managed layouts database table.

If you unzip and upload this file to administrator/components/com_jevents/controllers/defaults.php it should eliminate the duplicates (and hopefully resolve this issue).

After trying a previous event link and producing a new one, the Event Detail View is still blank. I'll PM my login info.

I found the cause - an unedited/custom layout was being published/enabled and so the layout appeared blank. This new version of components/com_jevents/views/default/helpers/defaultloadedfromtemplate.php will fix it.

Hi,

I had the same issue.

The JEvents has items contain next to no information when you click them. Is there some way to have a large calendar open up when someone clicks a date? It’s not user friendly at all.
I upgraded my Joomla and then Jevents. It fixed my blank click on event issue, but then another issue popped up with all my event content duplicated. So, I went to my layout config editor to publish the templates I had in the old version of Jevents. Yes! Now, my event content isn't duplicated.

Yet, I'm looking into how I can have a map embed for each location address I select.

Please let me know if you know how to do this.

For the maps in the event detail view you need the JEvents location manager (https://www.jevents.net/products-new/addons/managed-locations) and possibly combine this with the JEvents Map theme (https://www.jevents.net/products-new/addons/club-layouts/map)
