Hi,
I am a bronze member. A client has an issue at milwaukeeyc.com. We are running version 3.2.21 on Joomla 3.41. This weekend will be updating Joomla. I am happy to give temporary access to a member of your team via private e-mail. The problem is this:
Everything works except managing individual events. When client tries to update existing event or add a new one, we get a blank screen with error message: "Empty License Key." I hope someone can tell me what is causing this and how to fix it. As far as updating Joomla, we are in a brief holding pattern, but I am updating PHP to version 6. (7 not available yet at our host provider, Bluehost)
Thanks,
-JG
Hello -JG,

I'm afraid this isn't a JEvents error it's not something we have or ever would do to our users. You can use JEvents as you did for ever.

Firstly, I would upgrade Joomla! & JEvents and then see what happens when you try to save, but I suspect it is caused by an addon?

Many thanks
Tony

Thank you for replying, Tony. How can I determine which one? This is a complicated site. Updating Joomla often a nightmare, so much so I wonder why I stick with it.

Hello Jim,

You would need to disable the plugins one at a time,. I would look at the content ones first.

The Issue isn't actually Joomla! but by the sounds of it it's the way your site is built.

Updating Joomla! incremental versions should be seamless unless it's not very well constructed. Make sure all components and plugins are up to date.

Many thanks
Tony
