I have uploaded the zip-file and installed by Joomla! Extentions. I have the latest Dutch language file set on default. Unfortunately JEvents is in English. Please can someone help me out?

Kind regards,
Angelique Bolk
Hello Angelique,

Did you install the JEvents Translation from:

http://www.jevents.net/download-area/tr ... anslations

If so, did you install the Joomla! Translation first?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Yes I did. It was in Dutch already. What is the best thing to do now? Uninstall and do it again?

Kind regards,
Angelique

Hello,

No if you have installed both the Joomla! translation and the JEvents Translation.

And your language for the user/site is set to the same translation then your site will load both.

Can we see a link?

Thanks
Tony

Hello,

Are you sure you downloaded the JEvents Specific Language pack? from:

http://www.jevents.net/download-area/tr ... anslations

This adds the extra files to the Joomla! Language pack to translate JEvents.

Thanks
Tony

I'm having exact the same problem.

Installed the Dutch language pack (from the link mentioned above) and everything still appears in English in the frontend and the backend in Joomla 3. Live URL: [url:gp9hsusa]http://eavlaanderen.be/new/agenda[/url:gp9hsusa]

Any ideas?

Never mind, got it fixed.

My default Joomla language is nl_BE, not nl-NL so I had to copy and rename languages/nl-NL/com_jevents.ini to languages/NL-nl/nl-BE_com_jevents.ini
