Hello,

We have a problem with date ordering.
In this screenshot you can see the dates we have entered: https://i.postimg.cc/zvH78hv7/pshsdates.jpg
But on the website the first date doesn't show up: https://www.healingspace.nl/icalrepeat.detail/2018/10/05/410/68/eenvoudig-gezond
For some reason it skips the first date. What could be the cause of this? Thank you very much in advance for your time.

Best regards,
Gina

Hello,

Where should I be seeing it? I see 05-16th in the link of the event you posted?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

On the website, at the top of the page it should say "vrijdag 21 September 2018 -- vrijdag 16 November 2018", because 09-21-2018 is the first date we entered for the event (as you can see in the screenshot I posted).

I know the dates each have an ID, and that it will be displayed on the website in order of de ID's. However, we made very sure that the dates would be entered in the right order of the ID's. So this can not be the issue.

Thank you very much for your time and hopefully you can help us.

Best regards,
Gina

Hello,

so you are using;

{{Begint Start Date:STARTDATE}} - {{Einddatum van meerdaags evenement:MULTIENDDATE}} - {{Eindigt Einde van laatste herhaling:LASTREPEATEND}}

Which shows the start date of the event and the last repeat end and multi-end date too. So the issue is the master event date is still the 05th October.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

Here you can see the event detailpage template: https://i.postimg.cc/HkH80yDW/date_problem_2.png
And here you can see that even on the events overview page, the first date shows october 5th: https://i.postimg.cc/zfrbjHsX/date_problem.png

How come it shows this date, when we actually enter 09-21 as first date of the event? Hopefully you can help us.

Best regards,
Gina

Hello,

As mentioned above it's using the date from the main event. see:

https://www.healingspace.nl/icalrepeat.detail/2018/10/05/410/68/eenvoudig-gezond

Then see:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/i2ucv059m575k4n/Screenshot%202018-10-04%2009.11.06.png?dl=0

The event is set for the 5th so this date is used as you would usually set the event date to be the first event.

We could look at adding a new option:

{{start date:FIRSTREPEATSTART}}

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

What do you mean with the date from the main event?
When we created this event we entered 09-21 as the first date.

Hello Gina,

Did you look at this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/i2ucv059m575k4n/Screenshot%202018-10-04%2009.11.06.png?dl=0

It clearly shows the start time of the main event of 10-05-2018. Then you set the repeats and edited the repeats to the times you wanted i.e. repeat 1 is 09-21 which you are expecting to see. But you entered it as 10-05 as per the screenshot above, do you follow that?

Many thanks
Tony

Hi,

I really hope you have time to look into this further and help us with one answer :) We need it for our business and customers see dates in a wrong order. We don't see any place where we can set the order of the days from this event.

Screenshot of mixed up days order: https://www.screencast.com/t/Q9uueDkrd8

It sets the following date as first date, while 21-09-2018 was the first date:
https://www.screencast.com/t/mB3diAZh4Ykz

So before the second day 5-10-2018, 5-10-2018 was shown instead of 21-9-2019. It looks like a bug, because we use Jevents for years now this way.

If you can login you can see it instantly what's wrong maybe? Login details are in Site Details tab.

Site frontend:
https://www.healingspace.nl/icalrepeat.detail/2018/10/26/411/68/eenvoudig-gezond

The event in the admin is the one from my other screenshot.

Thanks again.

Sergio

Hello,

I've upgraded your JEvents to the next release we are going to release any day that should fix the date setting.

In regards to the missing event in the list i.e. the 26th I've set to show current event in the matching events plugin and now that shows all four.

Please let me know if I've missed anything.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,
Thank you so much.

Only the module still shows one of the days from this 4-day event:

This is the third day of the event: https://www.screencast.com/t/IUrHsRYCYrDH

It should not be shown, since the first day (21-9-2018) is already passed.

The module is configured as: The module is configured as: https://www.screencast.com/t/7HU5S3Nz

So just to confirm, the module should show only the start dates of the upcoming events:
https://www.screencast.com/t/ejTYpJBN

Thanks again, Tony.

Kind regards,
Sergio

Is what I am seeing, can you provide one where they are out of order? I suspect it maybe the latest events module configuration.

Hi Tony,

Please find attached the event again.

Each time one of the event days is passed you see the next day in the administrator as well as in the module.

No it shouldn't rather than editing the individual repeats you need to edit the Main event when you set the repeats. This is where your issue is, that's where the time/date comes from.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

We always configured the main event like this:
https://www.screencast.com/t/fJ5cie6L

As you can see it has 4 days, I marked it in red in the screenshot.

It always worked like this, but can you tell me how you advise we should configure it otherwise?

Hello,

that looks correct. But if you then edit the first repeat it won't be reflected in the master event.

Many thanks
Tony

That's correct, it's not reflected. But can you please help us fix this? This was never a problem before.
