I don't want my user to be able to choose or see the Category, Access Level and State fields on the Create Event's form when to want to create an event.(These fields are set to have the default value, ie. -Default category, Public and Published)

Which file should I edit in order to change the form?
Edit:

JEvents -> Custom Layouts -> Event Edit Page

And add:

style="display:none;"

To the <div here> and it will hide it.

Thanks

Thanks Tony, but it works perfectly if I add an event thru the add event menu but not from the shortcut from the calendar (Add event link at the bottom of the calendar or click on add (+) button on the date's cell)..,. it will show an error saying please choose category and not automatically chose Default category as the default)

The reason for this is likely because the menu item doesn't have the same constraints to events menu item does.

Many thanks

Thanks Tony.

Is there any workaround on this? I want my users to submit to a default category only. The other categories are only for my use.

Thanks once again

Hello Hasani,

You can edit the other categories and deny them creation rights?

Many thanks
