JEvents is a great calender tool! What I am desperately looking for are two functions and I would like to know to which extent they are covered:

a) a working schedule for an recurring event (that would be the Addon "Managed People / Resources";)
I want that certain services to be covered and organized for an event such as moderation, speaker, technic, music, catering, cleaning.
- These services should be covered by registered users and and sometimes beyond (for external speakers, musicians, artist).
- A user should be able to view, for which services he is responsible
- In general the services should be covered by a certain user group.
- The services should be visible for each event and as a table for all recurring incidences of this event

b) a timetable for an event with editable columns
(that would be the Addon "Agenda/Minutes - article links";)
The concerned Addon just gives the opportunity to link a file to a certain event.
What I look for are the following functions.
- chance to use predefined timetable templates for recurring events containing a default programme
- automatically generated timeline depending on the minutes specified for a programme item
- columns especially for time, duration, programme item/title, person responsible, stage directions

Hello,

a) This looks to all be fine in general
b) You can use copy & Edit feature for a unpublished past event for instance? We don't have a timeline feature as of yet. Could you please provide an example?

Many thanks
Tony

That is really great that a working schedule with mentioned functions is available!

As far as the timetable is concerned:
I attached an example of a timetable und describe the functions. The aim is, that all involved in the programme can view the plan and selected people can edit it. The functions in brackets e.g. [moderator] should bei automatically filled in from the working schedule or the subject of the speech from the event title.

Hello,

Sorry I thought I had replied.

So for that, you could display the custom fields etc within the event from the manage people and allow them to select a time from and to etc?

Sorry @tonyp I do not understand your answer. Is it possible to make such a timetable or not?
