Changing layout of JEvents Latest Module (2 by 2)

Hello,
I have the events displaying through the JEvents Latest module which works fine but it only displays the events vertically. I have tied looking at the module PHP and other sources but can't find a way to change the layout to a 2 x 2 layout.

I have attached a screenshot of what I want the layout to look like (top) and the layout as it is at the moment. (bottom)
